In July 2020, At the Root & Mercy Connections partnered with racial equity consultant
Tanaisha Coleman to invite small Vermont business owners to come together for an open, safe, frank discussion on race. We spent several evenings together. We listened, we shared, we processed, and we developed ways to deepen our committed to anti-racist work. Ultimately, our goal was to channel this experience into meaningful action and impact on our immediate community which was the impetus for this fundraiser. |
